Unlike the girls, there simply aren't an awful lot of local boys teams ranked in New York State, and that number got even lower on Wednesday.

Two of the three local ranked teams are in Class AA, and naturally, those are Christian Brothers Academy and Shenendehowa. The undefeated Brothers are still ranked 3rd in the state, behind Niagara Falls and Poughkeepsie, the only other undefeated schools in Class AA. Further down the list, in 16th, is Shenendehowa, though they are ranked 11th among NYSPHSAA schools.

Hoosick Falls are the only other ranked team in the area, and just barely - the Panthers are 16th out of 20 ranked teams in Class B, and their ranking does not yet take into account their loss to Schuylerville on Monday.

Loudonville Christian, previously ranked in Class D, was unranked this week following their defeat at the hands of Germantown last week.
